“Birth” of a wasp larva…

A big thank you to Doug Yanega.

He identified  this larva as a parasitoid ichneumon wasp larva that has evacuated the carcass of its host caterpillar.

What should have been a Tussock Moth is now becoming a wasp!

With Macro Photography you never know what you’ll find!!
